City of Orange unveils adopt a spot program

Director of Planning and Community Development, Kelvin Knauf, presented the “Adopt-a-Spot” program during the Orange City Council Meeting on March 8, 2022.
The Adopt-a-Spot program is intended to provide residents and/or organizations with a way to make Orange a more beautiful city in which to live, work, and play. The Adopt-a-Spot program encourages citizen participation in beautification projects of a permanent nature on public and/or private property.
Examples of projects may include painting a mural, landscaping, cleanup of blighted areas, beautification campaigns, and/or construction of a fountain, gazebo, sculpture, or other structures.

City of Orange to Hold Public Hearing on Proposed Tax Increase

The City of Orange is holding a public hearing on 29 August 2023 at 5:30 PM at the Orange City Council Chambers at the Orange Public Library.
According to the notice, the proposed tax increase is under the amount that would require voter approval.
The public is invited to voice their support or opposition to the proposed tax rate at the hearing
