Lady Bobcats shine on Diamond
The Lady Bobcat Varsity and Junior Varsity teams defeated Silsbee

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats defeated the Silsbee Lady Tigers tonight 15-1 to move to 2-0 in district play.
Abigail Curphey gave up just one hit and one unearned run in 7 innings with one walk and 13 strikeouts.
Harleigh Rawls led the offense with 2 doubles, a triple, a run scored, and 3 RBIs. Rylee Dougay had two hits with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Abigail Curphey had 2 hits with 2 RBIs. Madison Hughes added 3 hits, an RBI, and 3 runs scored. Joli Ponfick had a hit and 2 runs scored.
Alysen Vincent had a run scored. Paris Becker had a hit and an RBI. Abby Broussard had 2 hits and 3 runs scored. Greenlea Oldham had a hit, a walk and a run scored.
The Lady Bobcats improve to 14-8 on the year and 2-0 in district play. They take on the 3-0 Bridge City Lady Cardinals at home this Friday.
The JV Lady Bobcats also beat Silsbee with a score of 16-8.

Hickman talks High School Football at Rotary Club

Head coach and athletic director Hiawatha Hickman spoke to a packed room at the Orange Texas Rotary Club.

Hickman talked about the upcoming 2023 football season, their playoff chances, and the hard work the Mighty Mustangs have put in to prepare for the season.

PHOTO GALLERY: Bridge City Strutters Show Cardinal Pride at ADTS Camp

The Strutters participated at the ADTS Team Camp this week and took home many awards. Mrs. Cude stated about the team, “The Strutters worked as one- always supporting and encouraging when 16-hour dance days became exhausting. Each day they pushed and gave more!”
