Lady Cardinals split on first day of Evadale Tourney

The Bridge City Lady Cardinals split on their first day at the Evadale Tournament.
The Lady Cards lost to Kirbyville 28-27 in the first game.
Scoring leaders were freshmen Kaylee Britten with 13Pts, 6 Rebounds, and 4 steals; and Kailey Nelson with 8 pts, and 9 Rebounds.
They came out on top in their second match against Legacy 40-30.
The scoring leaders were Rylynn Thorton with 11 points, and 7 rebounds; Morgan Louvier with 10 points, 3 steals, and 2 assists; and, Kaylee Britten with 7 points and 3 steals
The Lady Cards play the Lady Bears on Friday

Orange, TX- Most area schools start the holiday break this week. However, local basketball teams will be busy during the holidays. McNeese State University will host the Bayou Border Battle again this year. Local SETX teams will play against neighboring SWLA teams during the two-day event.
