Orange Chamber Welcomes M&D Supply

The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting at M&D Supply in Mauriceville.

According to their Facebook page, they are a “Locally owned hardware store with eight locations in Beaumont, Vidor, Lumberton, Mauriceville, Houston on Beamer Road and Clear Lake, Rosenberg and Cypress.”

Orange Approves EDC Incentive with Robinson Apartments

On Tuesday, the Orange City Council approved an EDC incentive with Robinson Apartments for the expenditure of funds for eligible infrastructure improvements at 811 John Avenue in an amount not to exceed $19,000 for the purpose of economic development.

Robinson Apartments has proposed an estimated capital investment of $450,000 at the project site.

On Tuesday, The Orange City Council approved an EDC incentive with Studio 17 for the expenditure of funds for eligible infrastructure improvements at 1700 W. Allie Payne Road in an amount not to exceed $150, 000 for the purpose of economic development.

Studio 17 has proposed an estimated capital investment of $1,500,000 at the project site.
