The Bobcats Competed in the Region III Cross Country Championships on Tuesday.

The boys’ team started off the day running a tough, cold, and windy 3 lap course.

Carson Worthy crossed the line in 37th place with a personal record time of 18:23. Carson would be the 2nd freshman to cross the line in the entire region and just missed qualifying for state by 20 seconds.

Ty Butler crossed the line next with a time of 19:42. Ty ran a very tough race and was able to surge to the end to finish second for the Bobcats.

Carson Willis ran a PR race

Our girls’ team would get out and attack the course by running some competitive times.

The first to cross the line for the bobcats would be Kendall Sullivan in a time of 14:18 to finish 52nd out of 181 runners.

There were good runs from Kadee English, Sadie Malagarie, and Aubree Beck.

Madison Trammell would put up another PR of 15:35 on this tough regional course.

The final 2 members of the lady bobcats would be Jocelyn Hernandez and Natalie Black Both running strong as well.

Coach Wilbur would like to recognize his seniors Tanner Sullivan, Brayden Trammell, Leyton Loft, and Bryce Blacksher.

These teams would not have reached their goals this season without the leadership, energy, and perseverance of these individuals.

Thank you to them.
