The West Orange-Stark Middle School competed in a district track meet last week.

The results:

 7th Grade

200m Dash: Ja’kiya Janice- 3rd Place
400m Relay: 4th Place (Ja’kyra Manuel, Alexis Robles, Ja’kiya Janice, Sania Boykin)
800m Relay: 3rd  Place (Ja’kyra Manuel, Alexis Robles, Ja’kiya Janice, Sania Boykin)
1600m Relay: 6th Place (Ja’kyra Manuel, Alexis Robles, Ja’kiya Janice, Sania Boykin)

 8th Grade: 

400m Relay: 3rd Place (Jasmine Fairley, Kierra Robinson, Amirah Nickerson, Jamirah Manuel)
800m Relay: 5th Place (Jasmine Fairley, Kierra Robinson, Amirah Nickerson, Jamirah Manuel)

The Strutters participated at the ADTS Team Camp this week and took home many awards. Mrs. Cude stated about the team, “The Strutters worked as one- always supporting and encouraging when 16-hour dance days became exhausting. Each day they pushed and gave more!”
